SHARE Graphic Design

SHARE (the Scottish Health Research Register and Biobank) is part of Scotland’s National Health Service, and is based at the University of Dundee. I’ve included a selection of my design work for SHARE here.

I was given the brief of elevating the quality of SHARE’s graphic design output while using existing brand colours. The manager’s preference was also that I not use any images of real people, including stock photos.

Updated Genetics Poster

The brief was to update an existing poster, explaining chromosomes and genetics in a child-friendly way. This was used at Dundee Science Festival 2026 as a tie-in with SHARE’s genetics-themed activity stall.

The colours used were picked from the SHARE logo and adjusted for saturation. I also redrew the chromosome diagram specifically for this version of the poster.

Shobna’s Retirement Card

One-off greetings card designed for one of SHARE’s founders, who retired in 2026.

Outdoor Bowling Banner

This was a brief for an outdoor banner, with a very simple design prominently featuring the SHARE logo, to be printed at 8ft x 3ft and displayed at a local bowling club.

The only existing graphics that might have been suitable were only available at raster format in much too low a resolution for printing at this scale. This version was designed in Illustrator and forwarded to the printers as a vector file.
